Despite agreeing to go on VH1’s Dating Naked, the premise of which is summarized well by the name, Jessie Nizewitz had NO idea what she signed up for.
Or so she says in a $10 million lawsuit against VH1 parent company Viacom and two production companies for allegedly flashing her crotch, uncensored!
The incident took place during a playful wrestling match on the beach with a male contestant. Nizewitz was, by definition, buck arse nude at the time.
But the 28-year-old New York model says she was assured that all of her naughty bits would be blurred on the show, and that they clearly weren’t.
The social media coverage of this "event" has messed her up, she says.
"I have no problem going to a beach in a bikini or people seeing me on TV in a bikini," the reality star said in a statement via her attorney, Matthew J. Blit.
So why go on a show called Dating Naked? Jessie Nizewitz explains:
"I was told that my private parts would be blurred for TV … if you watch an episode, you will see that the blur actually makes it less revealing than a bikini would."
"Obviously, I did not expect the world to see my private parts, this is not what I anticipated or what any other contestants on the show anticipated."
The Plaintiff, according to her court filing this week, "was shocked, horrified and outraged to observe this intrusion into her privacy for all to see."
"Immediately Plaintiff became subject to ridicule by those watching, [suffering] extreme emotional distress, mental anguish, humiliation and embarrassment."
VH1 and the other defendants, she says, should know that Dating naked is one thing, but showing her "vagina and anus on national cable television" is another.
Perhaps they should. On the flip side, these things happen.
Basically, this girl went on a show called DATING NAKED, was shown naked, feels wronged by this and feels she deserves $10 million as a result.
Sort of hard to be taken seriously when put that way.
