A former Miss Nevada has claimed armed police officers mistakenly burst into her home, forced her to get out of bed naked and then joked that she would 'have a story to tell at Thanksgiving'.
Caleche Ranae Manos and her fiance have sued Los Angeles County and its sheriff's department, claiming officers swooped on their Santa Monica home during a raid - but got the wrong apartment.
Manos, who was Miss America's Miss Nevada 2007, said deputies burst into her room brandishing guns in the early hours of November 15, 2011, but their search warrant was for another apartment.

Their apartment, 'A', and the intended apartment, 'C', have their letters clearly marked on their doors, and it took officers 'a significant amount of time' to realise their mistake, the complaint notes.

ShareManos, 27, and her fiance, Eric Otto Ryder, an architect, were asleep when police burst in.
'Harrassment': Manos said the police officers only made her get out of the bed as she's a woman
'The sheriff deputies brandished their firearm[s] and pointed them at Mr. Ryder, who was not fully dressed and who was in shock,' the complaint states, the Courthouse News Service reported.
'The deputies then immediately proceeded to enter the plaintiffs' bedroom. At that time Ms. Manos was still in bed and was naked,' it continues.
'The sheriff deputies, all of which were male and armed with guns, ordered Ms. Manos to get out of bed and then watched as she attempted to do so.'
Manos and Ryder said they were then detained and questioned by police, who continued to point guns at them.
They were treated 'in a rough and rude fashion', the complaint states.
But the couple told officers there was a mix up, and 'it took the sheriff deputies a significant amount of time before they realized that they had executed the search warrant on the wrong apartment'.
In the complaint they added that the deputies did not apologize for the 'detainment, humiliation, rough treatment, and horror'.
'Instead of apologizing, the sheriff deputies joked and stated to the plaintiffs that they would now have a story to tell others at Thanksgiving,' it added.
Manos is seeking amages for negligence, false imprisonment, and civil rights and Constitution violations.
She is accusing the deputies of sexual harassment, saying they only made her get out of the bed as she's a woman.

'Manos was harmed as she has suffered and continues to suffer emotional distress, humiliation, mental anguish, and embarrassment, as well as the manifestation of physical symptoms,' it added.
Manos won the title of Miss Nevada in 2007, appearing on TLC's Miss America - a separate title to that of Miss USA, which is part-owned by Donald Trump.
She has appeared on commercials for TOM'S shoes, hosted technology events and is recording an album, according to her resume and social networking sites.
