Rock Falls Police arrested three people on various charges Thursday, according to a news release.

Shortly before 1 p.m, Thursday, Rock Falls Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 600 block of West 7th Street in Rock Falls. During the traffic stop it was determined that one of the occupants of the vehicle was a 17-year-old boy who was wanted on a felony juvenile warrant for aggravated battery with a firearm, the release says.

This warrant was obtained by Rock Falls Police as a result of the investigation of a shooting Feb. 2 in the 200 block of Hudson Drive.

The vehicle was searched and officers found a firearm and ammunition in the passenger
compartment of the vehicle.

Blake A. Keane, 21, of Sterling, is charged with unlawful possession of ammunition by a felon. Keane was processed at the Rock Falls Police Department then transferred to the Whiteside County Jail to await a detention hearing.

Ethan A. Fuller, 19, of Sterling, was taken into custody on multiple outstanding warrants and was transferred to the Whiteside County Jail.

The 17-year-old was transported to the Rock Falls Police Department for processing and was then transferred to the Kane County Juvenile Detention Center to await a detention hearing.

This incident remains under investigation and additional charges may be filed and/or
additional person(s) charged, the release says.
